Meet Notes: 2011 Season
10/18 vs Barnstable: The Boys Cross Country Team defeated Barnstable H.S. 20 to 41 on Tuesday at Borden Colony in Raynham. The team is now 2-0 in the OCL, and will run at Taunton H.S. next Tuesday, with the OCL Championship at stake. The Trojans top five against the Red Raiders were: Rob Nee, James MacArthur, Ed Hall, Dan Russell, and Luke Amirault.
10/11 vs Dartmouth: The Boys Cross Country Team traveled to Dartmouth on Tuesday, where they competed in their first OCL Meet of the season. The Trojan Harriers came out on top, with a 23 to 33 win, which will lead them into the rest of their OCL Schedule. Top five finishers for the Trojans were: James MacArthur, Ed Hall, Rob Nee, Luke Amirault, and Dan Russell. The Team will host a tough Barnstable H.S. Team at Borden Colony, in Raynham, next Tuesday.
9/27 vs Durfee: The Boys Cross Country Team defeated Durfee H.S. on Tuesday, the score was 18 to 44. James "The General" MacArthur was the first man to cross the finish line, winning his first Varsity Race. Other competitors who ran well for the Trojans were, Ryan Putt, Anthony Sorrenti, Justin Kennedy, Andrew Do, Kenny McNeil, Dan Flaherty, and Connor Monahan. The Team will travel to Dartmouth, to take on Dartmouth H.S. next.
9/21 vs Brockton: The Boys Cross Country Team lost a very close meet to Brockton H.S. @ Borden Colony, in Raynham, 29 to 30. The top 5 competitors for B-R were, James MacArthur, Rob Nee, Ed Hall, Luke Amirault, and Nick Ferrigno. The Trojans will host Durfee H.S., on Tuesday the 27th, in Raynham.
9/16 Tri-meet vs West Bridgewater, Colyle Cassidy, East Bridgewater: The B-R Boys Cross Country Team opened their season @ West Bridgewater H. S. on Friday September 9th. The team defeated West Bridgewater 23 to 37, lost to Coyle Cassidy H.S. 23 to 32, and lost to East Bridgewater H.S. 26 to 29. The top 5 finishers for the Trojans were, James MacArthur, Rob Nee, Ed Hall, Nick Ferrigno, and Luke Amirault.
