Trey also was selected Player of the year, We look forward to having captain elect Andy Pryles , Avery and their returning teammates back for the 2012 golf season and wish Trey the best at college next year.

The B-R golf season has come to an end for all BR golfers except Trey Sibert who will be competing in the MIAA Individual State Golf Championship on Monday 10/31/11 at International Golf Club . He will be playing the Oaks course. Good Luck Trey , Play Well.

I would like to thank the following people and groups. First thanks to all the parents and relatives for all their support, financial and otherwise, providing transportation golf equipment etc . Thanks to the OSL Golf Commission , Chris Anthony, and his staff who have always been very supportive . Mr. Buron and his assistant Jane Cobb for the countless things they take care of, starting with paper work, scheduling of matches, buses, ordering golf hats, chasing down paper work for physicals and activity fees, etc. Mrs. Newberg who took care of all the non golf concerns for the End of Season Team tournament . Food ,drinks ,napkins , plates etc. All the parents who donated food . Shaw's Market for their donation of that huge cake. ( don't forget to mention it when you are shopping there) . Coaching volunteers Mr Jones and Mr Thomas who make it possible for the JV & freshmen to play at OSL during varsity away matches. Mr Swart for his help with transportation .Mr Bruce Langlan for all his work with the B-R Athletic web site , Friends of B-R Athletics . All the golfers for their hard work and dedication not to mention putting up with the COACH . Special thanks to Mrs. Pimental for support and always accommodating the B-R golf schedule.

I would like to close by thanking all the BR golfers who donated $$$$ for the very generous gift card to Joe & Leighs . I see a very nice pair of new golf shoes in my future.

10/18 vs Pembroke: Despite playing well the B-R golf team was defeated by Pembroke H S 238 to 224 . The lost eliminated the team from qualify for the MIAA Golf Tournament . Sam Barbetto lead all BR golfers with a one under par 35 and Trey Sibert shot 37 . The team will close our their year with a team tournament at OSL on Tuesday 10/25/11.

10/17 OCL Tournament: The OCL Golf Tournament was played today at Sergregansett C C and Trey Sibert shoot 77 leading all BR golfers and finishing in third place overall . Top two scores were 75 and 76 posted by two Barnstable golfers The team plays their last match tomorrow at OSL against Pembroke and needs a win to Qualify for the MIAA State tournament.

10/13 vsTaunton: The B-R golf team keep their hopes alive to qualify for the MIAA State Golf Tournament by defeating Taunton H S in a well played home match at OSL. BR golfers were lead by Trey Sibert who shot one over par 37 followed by Andy Pryles 38 . The teams record is now 6 and 7 and need to win their last match next Tuesday at OSL against Pembroke Monday 10/17/11 the team will be participating in the OCL All League Tournament which will be held at Segregansett C C.
