Game Notes 2011 Season
10/31 Varsity vs Whitman/Hanson:
JV:
The Lady Trojans ended their season with a tough 1-0 loss to Whitman-Hanson High School in a game played Monday on the BR campus. The non-league loss leaves the girls with an overall record of 6-5-5 for the season. The lone goal of the game came in the 11th minute of the first half, but the girls had a chance to tie the contest when WH was called for a penalty in the box later in the half. However, the penalty kick was stuffed by the Panthers keeper and the goal stood up the rest of the way. All 19 girls played with a lot of heart and intensity in the season-finale, but were not rewarded for their efforts on the scoreboard.
The girls return to action next September.
