Definitely a tough loss, as Taunton came from behind and beat us with a walk off single in the bottom of the 7th inning. Another well pitched game by Val Hoyle – with some help in the infield by shortstop Karyssa Shaw and 3rd baseperson Zoe Thomas! Offensively, we had the bases loaded in 3 different innings but just couldn’t get the runs across! Top batters for this game were Val – going ¾ and Zoe Thomas being on base every time she was up! Freshmen: With this being the last game of the season the girls were able to keep it close for the first few innings. Thanks to the solo pitching efforts of Lexie LaBollita. Katy Gimler, Zoe Thomas and Val Hoyle all had two hits. Nice job by Amanda Fava behind the plate filling in for the injured Holly Greet. JV: On May 5th, the JV team had a knock down run-for-run game vs. a much improved Marshfield team. When all was said and done we ended the game in a tie with 18 runs a piece!! The weather was definitely a contributing factor in all the run scoring for both sides as we had to deal with some drenching showers…. You should see the scorebook!! Freshmen: An outstanding effort by all in this tough 1-run loss to New Bedford, losing 12-11. It was a good game by both teams and Bridgewater was ahead midway through the game. But a big inning by New Bedford pushed the girls to battle back, with much needed doubles by Rachel Dibari, Gennie Sarro, and Samamtha McGrath. Great hitting was turned in by Lexie LaBollita and Kayla Hoffman, each going 3 for 4 in the game. Defensive kudos go Deena Ojjeh for some great fielding at thirs, and additional kudos to Stephanie Jordan playing second. The pitching duo of DiBari and Kayleen Walsh truned in 8 strikeouts during the outing. Overall, the game was the best showing of the season for the freshman Lady Trojans.

Brockton jumped out to a big lead but the girls fought back with hits from Stephanien Jordan, Kayleen Walsh and Kayla Hoffman and some heads-up bases running from Erin Donahue and Rachel DiBari kept adrenaline high.
